Rush down the Sabie River on a Gecko through meanders, cascades and rapids.
Feel the natural powers as the stream plays with you like a toy and rotates you in all directions. Our geckoing in Hazyview on the Sabie River will be a highlight to your stay in the region of Mpumalanga!

  • Preparation:
    Come at least 15 min ahead the booked start time to our base located on Sabie Road R536 in Hazyview. We also offer a pick-up service from near places and the airport alike. Before we get started, you will get to know your guide, change the clothes in our changing rooms and get all the necessary equipment.
  • Tour:
    We will reach the start point of our white water adventure after a few minutes of car drive. Once there, your guide will brief you about safety on the Sabie River. He will also explain to you how to navigate the Gecko/Tube and what to do when the rapids capsize the boat to fully enjoy your geckoing in Hazyview.
    During the tour, you will have a lot of fun when avoiding stones and finding the best ways through the rapids and cascades. Also jumps off the rocks into the Sabie River are waiting for you!
  • Arrival:
    We will drive you back to our base, where we will hand you photos and videos of your geckoing in Hazyview on the Sabie River on a USB-key if purchased.
